New Work in Gallery

There are many steps in the process of turning my Black and White film photographs into what you see here. I start the process by taking a Black and White photograph and then chemically etch the negative which I then print in my darkroom with a cold light enlarger onto silver gelatin based paper. Then I use thinned oils and oil pencils to color the print. There’s an archival process to then print copies that I do here myself. I use hundred year heavy paper and inks to make true archival Giclee’s. The colors because of this process do not shift and the paper stays as the day it was printed. I hope you enjoy my work and please if you have any questions contact me and I will answer. Thank you. Barry J. Sharp
